The Chiefs beat the Niners on Sunday vs a mash unit defense when CMC arrived on a Thursday. Chiefs claim to fame this year is beating the Chargers twice when the Chargers were like 1-6 this season vs playoff teams.

He’s a tough kid. He’s perfect for a rush attack that counts on him being able to break a tackle at the point of attack because his guys can’t open up clean holes. It’s why the better back CEH hasn’t been productive for them of late.

The intentional grounding was the correct call too. Burrow threw it straight into the ground otherwise it is a sack anyway and they are in the same position. There wasn't a WR near where he threw the ball. Most of the calls you are talking about are either 50-50 or the right calls.

I could see if it was a clear blown call like the CLE-KC where Higgins stretches out for a TD and there is obvious helmet to helmet contact, totally changes the game but I don't see one play in this game to suggest that. *I had to reference that Browns game LOL* Even then the Browns had a chance to win at the end of the game, just like Cincy.

He’s gonna need to score 40. He doesn’t need to just “win” that battle. He has to kill it in that battle…with Kelce and a beat up WR corp that was pedestrian before getting beat up. And Mahomes is special because of his mobility. He won’t be close to 100% on that high ankle sprain. The only thing that heals that is surgery or rest. 2 weeks won’t cut it.

Could make a case for Burrow, Herbert, Josh Allen and Kyler Murray.
Both Burrow and Herbert excellent on the run passing the ball and can scramble. Murray is electric in space. Lamar and Hurts are different, both unlike anyone in the league but you still have to account for other guys at least when they get out of the pocket. Not going to be easy to keep Hurts in the pocket but I saw TB do it against Mahomes....KC defense going to have to ramp up. That TB defense was sick.

Who is they? A high ankle sprain isn’t a 3 week injury. It’s definitely not a 3 week injury when you take the shot and avoid early rest to play on it the next week.

The 49ers were a lot better than they appeared and Philly crushed them. The #1 defense in the league, meaning even without their QB, scoring that many points on them is impressive. Also, Philly has a great defense. Long story short, Philly is the easy bet. Mahomo isn't even healthy. If Al Roker is reffing the game again, then i may change my pick lol

None of those guys are used in the run game the way Hurts and Lamar are. Those other guys you cite are threats to get out of the pocket if it’s there vs pass rush and coverage. Entirely different conversations.

A better comp would be if they played Marriotta with Atlanta this year. Not even sure if that match up happened. There was no reason to pay attention to the NFC South this season. Dog shit franchises playing dog shit football.
