I love the irony here.

After the Eagles won the Super Bowl, I told a buddy of mine who is an Eagles fan that they should trade Wentz right then.

Not because I thought Wentz would fall apart, but Foles obviously was good enough there to help them win and they could have gotten a tremendous haul for Wentz.

Fast forward a couple years and that is basically what the Eagles have done, but by selling low rather than high.

At least they got a 1st rounder. Wasn’t sure they would get that.

Probably only got the first as they took on the bad contract in Foles. Guess theory is at least Bears got a younger guy in an awful deal.

Looks like the guy who was also right in all this was Paul Dipodesta......but he never should have shared his thoughts. He has since learned to be tightlipped.

Haha.

Yeah, I replied to you, then was surprised to see it wasn’t on any of the sports news sites.

Still could happen though. I hope it does.

No wonder Troy Aikman and Joe Buck are such lousy announcers.

You would think that would lead to a more entertaining broadcast; they must be personality-impaired.

I cringe whenever they're on tv. You can't be drinking while calling a live game. Be interesting to see if they get suspended or anything.

Now that's the way to punish a player. Refuse to play him but pay him anyway. I hope he's learned a lesson in all of this.
...and get him out of Cleveland. He's on the slow rise, out of Detroit and now likely out of Cleveland....

My Dad just mutes the TV. I'm usually visiting for dinner on Sundays and he gets so pissed, lol. Of course, he hates Romo too.

Aikman is excruciating though. He describes what just happened as if he's on the radio, assuming that without his take we can't follow the action at all.

He can only go up from here right? Not sure where he'll end up. But if the Celtics could get him I'd okay with that.

The mute button comes in very handy for Aikman and Buck. And Romo. Not sure what's up with him. Sometimes he seems okay. Then he'll say things that make me hit that all important mute button.

Toronto is rumored, but a tough match salary-wise unless another team gets involved.

Dammit. I don't want him to end up with a playoff caliber team in EC.

Romo is fantastic.

He can be a bit annoying at times, but his knowledge of the game is far beyond any other color commentator. Or at least his ability to communicate his knowledge in real time.

He would make a really good offensive or defensive coordinator.

Won't disagree with that. He's a helluva lot better than Aikman and Buck. Just at times he gets a little weird.
