Young, rich and driving a fast car...

Nah, I'm sure he was obeying all traffic laws. lol
That’s how we lost Jerome Brown. In many ways, these guys develop an infallibility complex like they can’t be hurt or defeated. Glad Myles walked away from this one.

I don’t think you are giving him enough credit for his ability to make commercials

Funny thing is, I thought about all the rosters after I posted this.

There are maybe 10-12 teams where it is debatable whether Baker would be an upgrade.

But I honestly can’t think of a single team where it is an open and shut case where Baker is the guy I would take.

At least not after what I have seen from him since the start of 2021.

He has even managed to make Christian McCaffery look pedestrian.

I can’t put that last part on Mayfield, that offensive line is bad.

I think that's just guys in their 20's. lol

At that age we all think we're indestructible.

Hell, I wasn't even that bad and I still sometimes wonder why I'm still alive.

If I had a car like that in my 20's or even early 30's...I'd probably be dead. lol
Been a truck guy my whole life and somehow avoided the muscle cars. I’m looking at a Chevelle SS at the moment though that might do me in.

That's what Darnold's biggest issue was. The o-line.

Last year, when McCaffrey was healthy, they could at least make some plays because Darnold does okay when he has to go off script. When McCaffrey got hurt, things came apart at the seams for Darnold.

I do.

McCaffery has been getting some decent yardage on the ground.

But what sets him apart is his ability in the passing game.

Baker not even looking his way.

Cleveland was basically the perfect roster for him. Arguably the best OL and running game in the NFL and we saw him play really good at his best but that’s the thing. His best was everything fitting into place. Even if Watson doesn’t workout it would have been worth it

I haven't seen a lot of the Panthers, but from what I have seen he looks like a guy who isn't comfortable in the offense.

What's happening is why I thought Darnold would start the season and then, a few games in, when he inevitably got reckless, Baker would take the starting job.

Darnold and McCaffrey had some chemistry and Darnold is a good enough athlete to be able to improvise and get the ball to him (it's also what gets him in trouble). That's why he basically fell apart after McCaffrey got hurt.

Baker and McCaffrey don't have any chemistry and Baker isn't that good going off script.

Yet, you claimed he turned a corner with the Saints.....LOL.

Pretty sure i never said that. Gave him credit for how well he played last year and that was all
