I don’t think it had anything to do with him not being great in the NFL. Still a decent player but he ran 4.7. Doesn’t say everything but I think his game just didn’t translate to the NFL. I thought the same though and he had a great head on his shoulders. Very intelligent kid, anyone could have been fooled by that psychopath.Just wonder how much all that hurt him. I really thought he was good enough to stick in the league.
Story I heard is that he never fit in at any NFL stop because the locker room made him a universal target for teasing. This event likely ruined dude’s career.Just wonder how much all that hurt him. I really thought he was good enough to stick in the league.
4.7 is plenty fast enough to play ILB in the NFL. He couldn’t get out of his head and he was a player that was great because of his film study and ability to diagnose. When he couldn’t get out of his head he was fucked.I don’t think it had anything to do with him not being great in the NFL. Still a decent player but he ran 4.7. Oh, the players gave him the business.Just wonder how much all that hurt him. I really thought he was good enough to stick in the league.
Yep.Story I heard is that he never fit in at any NFL stop because the locker room made him a universal target for teasing. This event likely ruined dude’s career.
That is exactly what he said.4.7 is plenty fast enough to play ILB in the NFL. He couldn’t get out of his head and he was a player that was great because of his film study and ability to diagnose. When he couldn’t get out of his head he was fucked.
I'm sure he had his issues but he was drafted in the 2nd round for a reason. He just wasn't a fit in the NFL, plain and simple. There are plenty of great college players that just don't succeed in the NFL. I think it definitely had an effect on his short career so he probably has a more lengthy career if not for the mental abuse but he was never going to be a great NFL player, is my point.4.7 is plenty fast enough to play ILB in the NFL. He couldn’t get out of his head and he was a player that was great because of his film study and ability to diagnose. When he couldn’t get out of his head he was fucked.
So you are saying it’s a good thing Durant didn’t have to go through something like that.Yep.
Strong kid.
A weaker person would have just crumbled or faded into obscurity.
He's a married father now and appears to be in a good place mentally.
He made about 7 mil.
Hopefully, he lived a frugal lifestyle.
