want to talk about getting fucked?

Guardians have had 10 double headers this year

most in the big leagues since 1985......not ideal.

Just wonder how much all that hurt him. I really thought he was good enough to stick in the league.
I don’t think it had anything to do with him not being great in the NFL. Still a decent player but he ran 4.7. Doesn’t say everything but I think his game just didn’t translate to the NFL. I thought the same though and he had a great head on his shoulders. Very intelligent kid, anyone could have been fooled by that psychopath.

Story I heard is that he never fit in at any NFL stop because the locker room made him a universal target for teasing. This event likely ruined dude’s career.

4.7 is plenty fast enough to play ILB in the NFL. He couldn’t get out of his head and he was a player that was great because of his film study and ability to diagnose. When he couldn’t get out of his head he was fucked.

Oh, the players gave him the business.

I give the guy credit for enduring all that slander and still trying to live his dream.

I was surprised to learn he was still around in 2021.

He was on the Bears practice squad as a covid replacement.

Yep.

Strong kid.

A weaker person would have just crumbled or faded into obscurity.

He's a married father now and appears to be in a good place mentally.

He made about 7 mil.

Hopefully, he lived a frugal lifestyle.

That is exactly what he said.

Speaking about his NFL journey after the scandal broke in UNTOLD: The Girlfriend Who Didn't Exist, Te'o shared: "The first three years at the Chargers were like that. And it was such a huge contrast to that kid at Notre Dame. The football field, that was my domain, you know. Like, when I'm on the football field, I feel like nobody can beat me. And I played free, and I played fast, and I played physical. And that was what made me great.

"Now I go to the NFL, and I'm questioning everything. Every day was just trying to figure out how to get rid of this anxiety, this numbness, this tingling. I'm trying to figure out all these ways to reprogram myself."

"I'll take all this crap. I'll take all the jokes, I'll take all the memes, so I can be an inspiration to the one who needs me to be."

I'm sure he had his issues but he was drafted in the 2nd round for a reason. He just wasn't a fit in the NFL, plain and simple. There are plenty of great college players that just don't succeed in the NFL. I think it definitely had an effect on his short career so he probably has a more lengthy career if not for the mental abuse but he was never going to be a great NFL player, is my point.

Solid role player for a nice, long career? I could definitely go for that. He was still decent for his short stint.

So you are saying it’s a good thing Durant didn’t have to go through something like that.
