You're mad at someone for doing what is best for their career lol.
Both players went to places where they felt/knew they would be playing for an NBA finals in June

Yeah, I have no problem with KD's move. I think its pretty different from LeBron's, but I have no problem with either. Do whatever you want.

Lebron was playing in the Finals with a roster full of turds in Cleveland in 2007
You absolutely would not bet big money against the Nets going to the NBA Finals if Lebron signed there tomorrow
It is different but the end game was the same which was I want to play for the NBA finals in June very frequently.
Yeah he did it in 2007 but he could not get to the finals from 2008-2010. Also felt like there was no way he could beat Boston big 3 without playing with a better group of players which was the reason he felt the need to team up with wade and Bosh.
honestly-How many teams could LeBron have gone to and not been competing yearly?
Lebron left both times to join up with all stars to make a superteam, plain and simple. He wanted to increase his chances at winning, and so did Durant
it would have been like if LeBron went and joined the CEltics with KG, Allen and Pierce after he lost to them-he would have never lived it down.I just have a problem with not making the obvious distinction between the 2 players
I could care less, Durants' titles to me will always be cheapened
He joined the team he couldnt beat
Wrong
So Lebron didn't want to increase his chances at winning? Sure
And for the record, Kevin Durant will be considered a top 20 player of all time at the end of his career.
Sure, but when he leaves those teams, they suck, plain and simple
Durant leaves GS tomorrow, they are in the Finals next season
Agreed. He is a great player....Just happens to be a coward
I'm not if I agree with that but yes they are a finals contender if he leaves. It also should be noted that 2 years after Lebron left, the heat were a win away from the ECF and that was without Chris Bosh. Any doubt Miami knocks off Toronto last year and is facing Cleveland in the ECF with a healthy Bosh?
