On the biggest stage, at the biggest moment -- Kyrie Irvin was taking the shots for Cleveland. Lebron took one shot in the last 4 minutes and missed.

He is a freak athlete and will go down as one of the all time greats. If he had that killer instinct, he'd be in the conversation as the GOAT. He just doesn't though and it can't be taught. You either have it or you don't.
If people stopped comparing him to Jordan, the view looks different.

He is way more comparable to Magic.

He'd much rather make the RIGHT play, instead of forcing up a shot.

But, I grudgingly agree with part of your thought process.

If he were more selfish, he'd be a bigger monster.

Plus, Magic was not afraid of the moment.....EVER.

It's funny....

Dude was being discussed as the possible GOAT just a week ago.

But, the Warriors look like a Team that can win the next 3.

If he never wins again, or hops to another juggernaut, all that could go away.

I think he is the best SF of Alltime.

But, the Goat talk is premature.

...and I held that position BEFORE the Finals.

Steven A Smith pointed this out on First Take. The GOAT doesn't get swept TWICE in the finals. Nor does he have a less than 40% game win record.

Great player? Absolutely. Top 5? Probably. GOAT? Not a chance.

We were both wrong.

Clearly, it was a topic being discussed.

But, you just might be clairvoyant. Because the very next morning, several articles went up.

With that being said......Dear God, TLF...lmao

You can't trade players you don't have under contract.

However, if he wanted to play with either of those guys, the Clippers would gladly do a sign and trade with Cleveland for Love or Kyrie, instead of losing them for nothing.

Fortunately for the Clipoers, the Cavs have no ability to sign either outright.
Obviously I was reading ancient history and bringing up ancient history but in my defense you women do that to your husbands when you're mad at them lmao. I did think of it though because I thought that with a sweep LeBron might jump ship

Lebron states he's taking his talents to Philly.

Philly trades the #3 pick and Dario Saric to the Pacers for Paul George.

Sign Kyle Lowry to 4 year 80M deal.

Starting lineup of

Lowry
George
Lebron
Simmons
Embiid

#trusttheprocess

And still gets fucked up by the Warriors in the finals

Well if Stephen A Smith declares it as one the of rules of being GOAT, then that's that, I guess.

Does Stephen A Smith have any other arbitrary rules for what the GOAT can or can't do? Kareem, Michael, & Magic are worried and want to know.

I would take Kyrie over CP who is beginning to age but Love is injury prone and Blake is better on Defense. It wouldn't be enough to beat the Warriors but It would tighten it up imo
Blake is better on defense?

Tallest midget.

Love is the injury prone guy. But, Blake has missed almost 200 career games.

You're actually disputing this? How many GOAT candidates got swept in the finals TWICE?

I don't agree with Stephen A. most of the time or even like the guy but he's dead right on this!

Interesting topic came up on ESPN. IRELAND put LJ behind Jordan and Kobe. One' reason is while LJ gives the ball to someone to make the shot, Kobe has a killer instinct not shared by LJ. Kobe would kill his own mom to win the game and he has 5 titles to prove it.

Gonna be a interesting 2018.

I will lmfao if he leaves the Cavs again.

But, I just don't see it.

I have been wrong before though.....

* See Durant

Agreed. I'm not a big Kevin Love fan, but I don't like Blake's game at all. Factor in the injuries and I don't want him anywhere near the Lakers roster.

Yeah, there is a argument to be made there.

I have him ahead of Kobe.

But, it's certainly debatable.

1. Jordan

2. MAN

Lebron, Magic, Kobe, Russell, Duncan, Bird could all make a case for 3rd...imo

I don't think LeBron is the GOAT. I have never thought LeBron was the GOAT. There is a very, very good chance that I will never think that LeBron is the GOAT.

But it has absolutely fucking nothing to do with getting swept in the Finals. Of all the things you could point to to explain why LeBron isn't the GOAT (and there are plenty of things)... dragging Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden's sorry excuse for asses to the Finals in 07 sure as hell aint one of them. Neither is averaging a 30 point triple double in the Finals while getting his ass kicked by what is quite possibly the greatest team of all time.

That's arbitrary bullshit that only appeals to people who can't be bothered to think critically for a second of their life.

Outside of the injuries, my two biggest issues with him are:

1. Rebounding...I think he's only grabbed 10 plus twice in his career.

2. How can you jump out the gym. But, you can't average 1 block a game?

It's those T Rex arms and a lack of desire.

I see the "lebron needs more help" excuses popping up.

Latest is the cavs trying to get Paul George.

All this talk about Durant, and rightfully so, but do people realize Klay has been the best offensive player and defensive player for the Warriors the last 2 games? He is so criminally underrated and not talked about.

Really.

Jordan, who I believe to be the current GOAT

Personally, I have Jordan as the goat.

Let me start by saying that, imo, Jordan is the current GOAT

Jordan will continue to be considered GOAT

I've said many times that I have Michael and Kareem well ahead of LeBron.

Jordan is the clear GOAT. You don't have to convince me of that.

LeBron passing MJ as GOAT is incredibly unlikely

I feel like I have to say this every other day. I do not think that LeBron is the goat.

Yeah, Jordan is the GOAT.
