Make sure you get a good warranty when you own a German car, BMW, Mercedes, Audi etc. These vehicles are great, but maintaining is very expensive. And they are not meant to be driven everyday. I have A BMW 750li believe me I had the valve seals replaced over a year ago, and that job alone was like $7,000. Good thing my warranty covered. Also keep in mind, these cars are not easy to work on , and many parts or oils must be certified brand. They can be complex especially when some sensor goes off.

Yes, you don't want to be putting miles on them, IMO they should be weekend cars. Also the more you drive them the more you have issues with them. Especially on BMW & Audi's. Ask any service advisor of any German car. They will tell you the same thing. They are beautiful, but I only use mines on weekend's.
