He didn't from what i remember. After the trade there were rumors he may sit out but those rumors were quickly shot down
Yeah I thought I remember some sort of rumor of him sitting out to eventually go to LA or something. Since those rumors he's just put his head down and played ball and has carried Toronto to the Finals. Hope he stays in Toronto and carries them rather than bolting to a bigger market team.

My rich sister in law who works in Silicon Valley is a big dubs fan who has season tickets. I was trolling her last night and she wasn't amused. I think Warriors fans are kind of in shock though.

most Golden State fans are unaware the franchise was absolutely terrible just 6 years ago.

Yeah, I can assure you my sister in law was not watching any games before they started winning big. Now she has seats like a few rows up from the Warriors bench, and is always posting photos on instagram of herself with Warriors players behind her. It's like a society pages thing for rich people in the valley.

Most realistic Warrior fans were not. Raptors are a good team. I had it going 6 highly contested games. I had them splitting in Toronto (yet to be seen), then being able to take 2 at home. Raps get game 5 and Warriors close out at home in 6.

The fact that the role players stepped up certainly helped, but a lot of star players would still have tried to force things.
Players like Kyrie Irving.

The Raptors are the only undefeated team in the NBA playing finals games in history

I think one of the biggest, yet underrated factors of the game was that Draymond was in early foul trouble and in significant foul trouble all game long. That affected how aggressive he could be on defense and it showed.

The defense was nowhere near as good as it was at the end of the Houston series and the Blazers series. That's what won them those games, not their offense. Defense will be the key to this series.

The rotations need to be shortened offensively for the Warriors. If you look at the Raptors, they essentially played 7 guys the majority of the minutes with McCaw and Powell getting spot minutes. The Warriors went 11 deep with every single player registering more minutes than McCaw and Powell.

The Warriors are less deep on the bench than the Raptors and even they realize the significance of having your horses lead the way. The Warriors should be going no more than 9 deep, with 7 guys having the majority of the minutes (Curry, Thompson, Iguodala, Green, Looney, Boogie, Livingston).

The Bucks would have drug the floor with GS...

The West is very weak this year.

Riiiiiiiiight. Like the Western conference being slightly weaker this year has any bearing on how good of a team the Warriors are.
