Couldn't ask for anything more from Nurse, no doubt. Agree last year's team maybe needed a new voice, though not like they got one as Nurse was an assistant.

But to call him a great coach and disparage Casey ( I know you didn't) is absurd...and some have.

Having Kawhi and Green instead of DeRozan could make anyone look like a coaching upgrade.

People put way too much stock in the regular season. Also, I guess we'll ignore that Kawhi Leonard missed 22 games this year as well during the regular season. But hey, they won less games in the regular season so they're a worst version than last year's team.
never said they were worse....just made an observation. If Nurse was so much better as many have said AND has a more talented roster one would think they'd at least have the same regular season. You cannot tell me they didn't care about their seed.

We aren't talking Lebron/Cavs or GS who have shown they can win no matter the seed.

If he does but picks one up in a Game 7 is he out of the game (guessing no), is the suspension next postseason, or since postseason is over does he just skate by without a suspension?

From what I heard, he's not out of the game and there will be no suspension for the next season. Only consequence is one FT for the Raptors and of course, the danger of a second tech in Game 7.

Glad I wasn't the only one seeing that flawed logic.
What flawed logic? It was a fact. They didn't win as many games despite having a better roster. Are you really suggesting they didn't care about seeding for postseason?

He's not a Warriors fan in the way that word is commonly understood

Oh I don't know about that. If he's not a true Warriors fan why does he have an autographed World B. Free jersey?

I agree. This years Raptors team is much deeper than the Cavs roster of last year.

Well, they were given a year to improve and continue to build the team (and change coaches). What would the Cavs have done around Lebron, had he stayed? Impossible to know.

This Raptors team would've definitely beaten Cleveland last year. I'm 100% convinced of that.
Fabulous. Just allows you to join tlance's Extreme Fan Club.

100%? You think a Lebron led team (the way he played last postseason) had a 0% chance to win a series against this Toronto team? Didn't think much before you typed that I'm guessing.

we'll ignore many thought the cavs would lose last year, too.

Not sure what the Cavs would have done. Why don't you ask wiggy? Wait a minute. That's a bad idea.

Wait...what? Now more than one person saw Lebron in last year's postseason and believes he had a 0% chance to beat this Toronto team? A team that dropped 3 to Philly and damn near lost the series?

sorry, but ya gotta love this forum. Hoping this lunacy ends at 2.

Also a fair point and if nothing else they added Sexton.

But even if we wonder if 2018 cavs would beat 2019 Toronto it's kooky talk to say 100% chance Toronto wins. Same Toronto who needed 7 to beat Philly and a shot away from losing the series if memory serves.

I never said they had zero chance. Never gave any type of % odds in the 1st place. You really need to stop making stuff up. You try pulling that shit too often. I just think this years Raptors teams would beat last years Cavs team in a 7 game series. This years Raptors team is deeper than what the Cavs had last year. So how is that lunacy? Other than me not agreeing w/ you.

But you did say I agree to this comment......"This Raptors team would've definitely beaten Cleveland last year. I'm 100% convinced of that"

If you disagree with that comment maybe you should not have said you agreed? Chances you will not admit you were wrong saying I made this up"? Ironically, 100%.

That said, I agree with your latter comment somewhat. could the Raptors have beaten the Cavs from last year? Certainly. Only area I disagreed was the extreme comment of 100% chance.

and played zero the previous season for Toronto....nor did Green and Gasol.
Might be a factor in why a better team wins fewer regular season games
