Everyone is still offering him a max including the Warriors supermax. But the smartest play for KD if he still doesn't want to commit is take the option so he can rehab for $31.5M, and even probably get another playoff run in, then he still has the option to stay for the supermax (way more money than other teams can offer) or leave like he was looking like. If GS is smart they will offer the supermax right now and hope he takes it. But his people should advise him take the option
Not sure he's in position to turn down a max with that injury. He could..as he's more than set for life, but doubt he would.

If the Warriors are smart they will offer the supermax to start AFTER the opt in year. And then tell the world they did that so every player in the NBA knows how we take care of players.

Drake's been around for years. That's not new.

Patrick McCaw is new and a fucking god.

Speakng of McCaw I can't wait to see him drain the last bucket @ Oracle before it closes. The scrubs will be in w/ exactly 4:20 remaining in the game. I have the Raptors winning by 50.

On the Durant injury, even if it was initially a calf muscle tear, I am sure the concern all along was that it could lead to a torn achilles tendon. A calf injury puts alot of presure on the achilles right below it.

The zoomed in, slow mo of the injury on facebook is disturbing.

Not sure if tongue in cheek but I guess you missed Nurse calling a terrible win-killing time-out late in the game. Kerr outcoached him this game plain and simple
That TO definitely cost them the game IMO. Leonard was in the zone, the warriors were gassed. Just flat dumb.

I don't get why they didn't call a timeout in the last possession. Why did they need to scramble and improvise an offense, especially against a great and smart defensive team.

They really screwed up the last couple of minutes, including a 24 seconds violation.

I don't know why anybody could criticize Leonard for passing up a bad shot. 2 of the six titles for the Bulls came from game winners by Paxson and Kerr.

I'm just going with results. I've seen Casey's group choke up when the playoffs come rolling around. I've seen Nurse be down in a series, make adjustments, and his team succeed. Yes, Nurse has the more talented roster; but with what Casey had, he still at times left me baffled.
You mean like when Nurse called a foolish TO?

Never mind you like Nurse so much more you said you'd rather have Casey and THIS roster than Nurse and last year's team.

McFly?

Dwane Casey would've had a stupid timeout call or shitty play in game 7 vs. Orlando that the Raps would've lost.

Nurse, despite yesterday, has been the second-best thing to happen to the Raptors this season.
like Nurse's stupid TO?

End of the day, everything was upgraded...star player, overall roster, coach...
Yet they regressed in the regular season with a better roster? Never had to get by that Lebron guy. Maybe that helped, too?

Regressing? Before I say anything I wanna make sure I got the right topic. You talking about the Raptors winning less regular season games than last year?

It would serve the Warriors right if Durant took the player option for 31.5 mil and waited til next year for free agency. The Warriors would be out that money and have no player because he's done for most if not all of next year.
They knew goddamn well that the original injury was achilles and not a "mild calf starin" and they let him go out there and aggravate it further.

The original injury was his calf, not the achilles. However, that calf weakness contributed to the achilles tear.
