Because that's his schtick. Skip says outlandish shit which gets a rise out of people. Notice that Max Kellerman on First Take is following his lead and people can't stop talking about how much of an idiot Max is. Sure, they're getting paid, but they aren't getting paid for their deep analysis of sports. They're getting paid, because they're TV personalities hooking people in on sports topics.

I’ve not see that at all. Every single person on the Ringer has Ws in 6, and almost everyone on ESPN has Ws in 6. I think I’ve seen ONE Ws in 5 prediction.
