To be fair nobody has ever argued that Toronto was a better team without Anunoby.
That's the point....it was argued missing a guy who even when healthy only played 10 minutes should be compared to missing all stars who missed 5 and 6 games

This is what I mean. After 3 quarters the Raptors starters have scored 24, 18, 18, 14, 12

Curry and Iggy only ones in double digits. Iggy with 10
but, but, but.....Kerr is their coach. He needs to will them to victory.

I disagree about 2018 but agree about 2015

It's definitely close.

Klay averaged 23 and 5 and shot 58% from 3 in two games but for comparison sake without Klay...

Green averaged 15, 9 and 8 and 2.0 steals a game.
Iggy averaged 8,7 and 5. 43% from the field. 28% from 3
Cook averaged 8 ppg. 47% from the field and 44% from 3
Cousins - played in 2 of the 3 basically. 6 and 4.
Livingston averaged 6 ppg. 35% from the field
Looney played in first 2 games. Averaged 5 and 2.
Bogut averaged 6 and 4.

Now if Klay only misses one game in the entire series, it isn't close. Curry had more around him. But I did say without Klay so I was using that one game...Lebron had this supporting cast for all four games last year:

Love averaged 19 and 11. 32% from 3.
JR averaged 9 and 3. 40% and 32% from 3.
Hill averaged 7 ppg. 32% from the field but 43% from 3.
Hood avearaged 7 and 4 and 20% from 3
TT averagaed 7 and 5
Nance averaged 6 and 7
Green averaged 5 ppg. 28% from field. 21% from 3.

It really is close not counting Klay. You could make an argument either way. Green has played as well as Love did, probably better. Cook has played better than JR. Iggy is essentially to Hill but better defensively. Livington has played as good as Hood. Bogut in limited minutes played as good as TT. The supporting casts are virtually the same.

2015 wasn't close though.

Is the Raptors never give up an 18-0 run in game 2 to start the 3rd this would be a 3-0 series lead.

The Raptors have won 10 of the 12 quarters played so far in the series.

except for the Bogut injury in 2016, which probably flipped that series the other way.

LOL. Varejao was kind of a game changer in Game 7, but that's Steve Kerr's fault for giving him any minutes.

That's not what is stupid about your posts right now. Yes they are playing hard and competing and still good enough to hang around for 3 quarters (gonna lose by 20+). But GTFO with that 3 allstar crap. They got ONE out there tonight.
Kerr cannot coach 'em up back to their AS levels?

He is a very average basketball player on most teams in the league.

Limited offensive player who is a good defender.

There are lots of players in the league like that.
while I do think he's been overrated at times I still have to say he's at least above average.

I think that's a crazy assumption to make.

I'm pretty sure Klay would have played and probably KD if they didn't win game 2 so game 3 probably goes a different way.

What is it about the Warriors that turns smart posters into dumb ones?
I hear ya.....so many thought Kerr was all that and really it seems it might just be he has better players. Last night he didn't and he lost.

I wouldn't call them dumb, though. Homer?

Kerr cannot coach 'em up back to their AS levels?

Dude was acting like Draymond was an all star 8 years ago.

This past season was the first time he didn't make the AS team since 2015

He's actually the primary playmaker and distributor. He would do wonders in places like Phoenix, Houston, and many others. Triple double machine. What happened to you?
Houston maybe, if he could get the ball. But again, he'd be their #3. Phoenix? Not so sure, but I'm curious if you are right.

So we agree, Golden State would be getting creamed if OG was playing instead of simply beaten.

My money is on OG for next season's MVP.
