LOL no guarantee Klay is healthy either.

You just don't recover from a hamstring in 5 days.

Golden State will have to win a road game 7 if they plan on winning the title this year

He almost played today man.

What's up with you tonight? You're not usually this kind of poster.

And why can't they win a road game 5 instead? Warriors in 6 still the call if Durant is back by game 5 (or even more game 4)

It is the finals. He is obviously going to try and play. You rarely see players come back in 2 or 3 days from a hamstring so you're out of your damn mind if you think dude is 100% healthy after injuring his hammy on Sunday

Just go read all the stuff online. He wanted to play, thought he could go, the doctors said no, they were just extra careful for the reasons you mention. By Friday he will be good to go and close to 100%.

I'm hoping they know Durant would be back soon so they figured they could lose this one.

Meh....the Dubs ain't sweatin' this one.

It was pretty much a foregone conclusion that they were gonna be the underdogs w/o Klay & KD tonight...but I'm actually mildly surprised they managed to hang around to keep it relatively close and interesting for as long as they did before it got out of control midway thru the 4th.

Game 4 is gonna be crazy on Friday, and I believe this series will be tied 2-2 as it shifts back to Canada for gm 5 next Monday.

Depends on how bad it is. The speculation was Leonard's lower leg injury that he's been dealing with was hamstring related and he's been playing through it despite looking gimpy at times. So you can play through it and still be good. If they expect Klay back for game 4, it sounds more like its not that serious and were just being overly cautious imo. He won't be 100% but he should be good enough to be effective.

Tough game tonight. Raptors played well and had contributions across the board. Warriors did not. It’s going to be tough to win when you let every starter from the opposing team go for 17+ each. Offensively I expected some drop off but o was really surprised how bad they were defensively.

Cousins and Draymond both had subpar games. That next man up philosophy didn’t come into play today. Warriors are going to have to win on the defensive end if they want a shot at winning the series, regardless of Klay or KD come back.

Cousins looked tired, which is understandable considering he hasn't played much at all not just from his most recent injury, but basically all year. You'd still like to expect better from him but given his circumstances, whatever positives you can get from him are just bonuses.

He missed at least 4 point blank looks. Tough finishes but ones he should make. Being tired isn’t an excuse at this point. He was great in game 2 but a definite negative tonight.

For him though, it kinda is an excuse. He's been out a long time with an injury and before that, he was just coming back from a prolonged injury as well. He hasn't been in basketball shape in like 2 months and its debatable if he was ever really in good shape when he came back earlier this year. So you're gonna see situations like this Finals where he had a good game and then could do it again the next time up. Obviously you're playing him but what I'm saying is you shouldn't really be expecting him to be "Boogie" night in and night out.

No matter what the final result is for this series, the Raptors are going to win over a lot of new fans across my country. Obviously a lot of that is bandwagoning, but that's where a lot of fandom starts, too

Fridays a HUGE game for both teams; can't wait!

Played in 120 straight playoff games til now. Never been seriously hurt (and still isn't). Pretty bulletproof so far.

No one said a 3-peat would be easy. Well maybe some of the folks with Warriors Derangement Syndrome

No.

Many, including me said the only thing that could stop them is injury.

They have sustained injury after injury to key players, yet still have a good chance to win it all.

There is not another team in the history of the NBA that could:

A: lose arguably the best player in the league for 8+ games
B: lose an all star caliber center for 14 games
C: lose a 4 time all star guard for a game in the Finals
D: lose their former 6th man turned starter for a game in the conference Finals
E: lose a former rotational big turned best bench player for the rest of the Finals

And still be in position to win a championship.

If the Warriors had stayed relatively healthy, this run would have been light work.

@bksballer89 is correct.

Klay will play.

But I doubt he will be anything close to 100%

The real benefit from the impending return of KD will be the Warriors ability to go small again.

Jordan Bell's minutes have been pretty brutal. He is just out of position on both ends.

Ideally, the DUbs should go with about 30-35 minutes combined between Bogut and Cousins and the rest with Dray at 5. They can't really go that route effectively without KD.
