Feel free You’re reaching @Montalban levels of wanting to be right though. It’s a slippery slope.
At least dt doesn't consider himself a Warriors fan while pissing down that slope.

How does that matter when judging a coach?Mostly just messing with those who seem sure Kerr is among the best.......but as pointed out, GS has now played 8 Finals' games where they were not clearly the most talented team and they are 3-5.
There's NEVER an asterisk in any title. Every title is valid no matter how injured your opponent is. You still have to win 4 series. Injuries matter, but they do not mean "asterisks". The Warriors have benefited from them, and been hurt by them. That's sports.
was tongue-in-cheek.....though it is true.Feel free You’re reaching @Montalban levels of wanting to be right though. It’s a slippery slope.
even though I named Fizdale (and you agreed) and Doc and said most would have done what Kerr did in GS?How does that matter when judging a coach?
We've already heard you say Kerr is a good coach, and other than Pop you can't name another good one, so Kerr is indeed one of the best active coaches
LOL "I'm just kidding....but I'm totally serious"was tongue-in-cheek.....though it is true.

So Kerr is among the best 4 active coaches. Sounds right.even though I named Fizdale (and you agreed) and Doc and said most would have done what Kerr did in GS?
How does it matter? The idea in the playoffs Kerr's teams have always been more talented than the opponent doesn't matter?
Guess last night was on him by that logic.
statement was true, but made in jest.LOL "I'm just kidding....but I'm totally serious"
Might be, but hard to know as I also said I think most coaches would have won in his place. Mike Brown did.So Kerr is among the best 4 active coaches. Sounds right.
So I've got that going for me?At least dt doesn't consider himself a Warriors fan while pissing down that slope.
We're back to your belief that coaching hardly mattersMight be, but hard to know as I also said I think most coaches would have won in his place. Mike Brown did.
Yes, we are. Never went off of it. Belief was enhanced again last night. Or Kerr just got stupidWe're back to your belief that coaching hardly matters

Maybe hardly matters is too much. Probably 20-30% coaching in NBA IMO. Rest is players.
Better than MLB, at least, where I think 10% coaching might be generous.
That's fair. 30% is pretty significant. Agree re baseball. Football is probably over 50%Yes, we are. Never went off of it. Belief was enhanced again last night. Or Kerr just got stupid

From the "you should fucking know better by now" department:
So I've got that going for me?
If anything, they were NOT underestimating the competition by assuming they needed Klay back at better than whatever percentage we would've been last night (and a risk for further injury) in order to win. So they took the likely loss and look forward to the next game. His absence defensively was pretty obvious last night.
