How did it win the game? It gave the Spurs 4 free throws and let's not forget Parker hit a 3 later in the game to put the Spurs up 3. :lame:

If the Spurs hit at least 3 of those 4 fts, they're up at least 5

Because Parker isn't young enough to recover quickly and the Heat players knows it. You try to shoot two free throws with the wind knocked out of you. It takes more than a few minutes to recover. That took them out of their rhythm. No excuse for Duncan missing those last two of the four though.

I don't know why everyone is saying Lebron had such a wonderful game. It seems like to me that Miami might be in trouble if Lebron delivered the best of what he has tonight. The Spurs were right in that game up to the end.

Dude Miami is one cramp issue away from being up 2-0. Beating SA in SA is never going to be easy. SA spent 8 months securing home court advantage in the NBA finals. It took Miami 48 minutes to take it back.

4 missed free throws.. not two. the second one was in and out. Let's face it. Spurs choked. Duncan choked. Parker choked.

DUNCAN... DUNCAN'T

I think a PINCH-HITTER needs to be in effect.

You cannot let some mediocre dirty player injure someone.
Then have that injured player hobble out to the freethrow line and badly miss two shots.

The SPURS should have the right to send whomever they want after dirty plays.
I knew that he had no chance of making either one before he stepped up... He looked like has was going to pass out.

They had to send him to the bench immediately after.

I hope the league upgrades it to a flagrant 2 and a suspension.
There is no place for cheap shot thuggery in this great series.

It's amazing how that one dirty play by the Heat changed the game for them and basically won them the game

LOL. The Spurs had leads after that, but they couldn't hold it.

lol, oh i knew you were. the Thunder STILL have yet to prove they have the ability to beat the Heat in a seven game series, which is why i'dve rather they faced the Spurs...

the Spurs can definitely beat the Heat. the question is...WILL they...?

Wont be upgrade to flagrant 2. And suspension? I may actually be okay with Chalmers not playing. But, I agree with your premise. When a flagrant occurs the team shooting free throws should be able to pick who gets to shoot them (as long as they pick a player that was on the court at the time).

Its just a stupid rule.
What happens if an intentional foul breaks a bone in the shooting arm?

Do they still make the player shoot them with a broken 8?

Parker was in need of a standing 8 count. He was clearly shaken and in a lot of agony.
At the very least, they need to give him enough time to prove he is functional.

Dude looked like he was going to fall over while shooting those freethrows.

no.. the player doesn't have to shoot them if they are injured. but if someone else does.. that player cant return.

He made 13 of his lat 18 shots. He locked parker down at the end.

Hes the only player other than shaq in the last 25 years to score 35+ on 64% shooting.

not that great?

There was definitely some gamesmanship by two of the more despicable HEAT players.
I like Lebron. He is a solid dude and a nice guy.

Lebrons plays the game with professionalism.
HE can trashtalk and show ego, but he never dips into thuggery or cheating.

But D-Wade and Chalmers are dirty players.
Wade is a dirty player and a flopper.

I hope the league fines Wade the full $5000 for one of the worst flops ever.

What about that Ginobili BS flop attempt at the end of the game? That was cool? Look, I get youre upset the Spurs lost. But you have Ginobili and Parker on your team.. you don't get to talk crap about flopping.
