I think the Suns were down 1-3 against the Lakers a few years ago and came back to win the series and advance to the conference finals where cheap shot Bob(Horry) blasted Nash to the floor in a dirty play.

If there is one team that could suddenly lose three in a row, it would be the Spurs - they have been unpredictable in the past, but unlike the Lakers, Popovich rebuilt the team while keeping his main elite players. No team has rebuilt like that.

That's what I thought - I know in the finals - it's never been done, and very little in the finals, but there is one difference this time that could be a factor. For the last 20 years that format was 2-3-2 and this time it was changed to 2-2-1-1-1 which gives the series a better balance. I would think that the Miami Heat has a better chance of pulling it off then with the old format. I remember that once the Lakers lost to the Celtics and were headed to Boston in 2008 - I said it was over because there was just no way the Lakers could win 2 of 3 in Boston in enemy territory. Just to difficult. That being said, however I still say it's over for the Heat in reality - they just aren't that good this year

8 teams have won playoffs series after being down 3-1. It is not impossible. No team did it in the finals because of the format which would require you to win B2B games on the road in games 6 & 7 but now with the format change, it will happen in the finals eventually

The Chicago Blackhawks almost came back 3 - 1 a couple of weeks ago against the Kings but lost in overtime in Game 7. But the Heat are not as good as the Hawks and this series is over.
