I feel rejuvenated. This is my mind state for the next week. Never underestimate the heart of a champion. Game 7 Friday.

It would be very nice to just get to 3-2 and go from there.

We all know close out games are the hardest.

Question 1 needs to be will Spoelstra mix it up and try something different in particular with the starting 5?

The Spurs figured out how to create mismatches all over the place vs the current rotations they have seen.

Them making every shot doesn't help either.

I watched the Kings come back from a 3-0 deficit in the 1st round of the NHL playoffs. To a man, the players said they just approached it as trying to win that game, that day. They didn't focus on winning 4 games because that was "too big".

It's unlikely that the Heat can suddenly turn it around and win 3 straight games, especially with how they lost the last 2 at home. However, if they are to pull it off, the Kings approach is how they'll do it.

Forget start..I'd hide his uniform like they do a football players helmet..:agree:

If the Spurs continue to play at games 3,4 level, then nothing will really help that much...
But the Heat do have players who can make it more difficult for the Spurs to get into such a comfort zone.
#1 is Haslem. He'll at least not accept getting pushed around under the basket.
#2. Try James Jones/ Battier earlier on. If they hit stick with them, if not, move on.
#3. Beasley needs to at least be an option. If Oden didn't play during the last couple beatings, he sure isn't playing at all in meaningful situations.

just 13 more times than the Heat...

i'd throw out a guess that you'd want your trophy case to be stack up like that...:whoo:

btw, wasn't the last Lakers title just 4 seasons ago? lol wasn't like it was the stone age...

It seens like it with all the Lakers whining, I guess they are just tired of losing. On the other hand, I'm used to it :laugh3:

Personally I think a real Miami Heat fan would admit that the Spurs is flat out the best team this year and is winning the series fair and square. All others are obviously trolls and are not actual NBA fans

I liked this only because it's true. Miami will definitely have to go back to the drawing board this offseason.

Anyone who blames refs for the last two games are just........I can't find the words. I think the Spurs maturation coupled with a perfect balance of youth and experience, Kawhi coming into his own, Timmy still playing at a high level along with Parker and Manu playing consistently hinges on that epic collapse in game 6 last season.

For the Heat's sake next year, I'm hoping Manu and Tim hang it up after this Finals. Can't imagine not wanting to go out on top.

Miami is going to play their best game of the series tmr. I'm not sure if it will be good enough but if Miami wins ( big IF) tmr it is going to a game 7

Just a little reminder if it goes 7, there is 2 days off after game 6 which would be crucial for Miami

I thought game 6 was on Tuesday and 7 on Thursday. I'm not worried about either, just game 5.
