I disagree. When they made that run, everybody was involved. Your team was just flat out better for a night. Also, Kawhi did an excellent job on defense

^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^^

Leonard was pretty much in LeBron's way to the basket nearly all night long...

It is not a replica.

Lebron sucked for the first 3 games last year when they trailed 2-1.
Lebron is playing out of his freaking mind the first 3 games, and they still are trailing 2-1.

That has to be scary for Miami. I would be pissed if I was Lebron.
Somebody else on Miami needs to step up. Lebron cannot do it all himself.

If Miami lose, nobody else will get blamed...but LBJ has been godlike. That would be unfair to him.

If he keeps playing he has the 1st 3 games and the Heat lose, I, for one, won't be saying shit about him. He has been playing about as well as can be asked.

For everyone saying this Kawhi is going to show up every game...

Barry Jackson ‏@flasportsbuzz 3m
Kawhi Leonard's 29 points were not only a career high, but more than he ever scored in college,as noted by @SpearsNBAYahoo

I hate to say it but it was a fluke like Neal last year

People are showing lack of basketball iq tonight. Everyone is focusing on Miami offense. The offense was not the issue. Good luck winning any game when you allowed 71 points in the first half at home and 111 for the night

And with that being said, we have our first must win game for Miami. Come out with that bullshit effort in game 4 and you're down 1-3 going to San Antonio.

But you know the Lebron haters will be out in full force. If Lebron averages 35 ppg, someone will say, "well, he should've averaged 40 ppg". Regardless, Miami has to get back to playing defense. That's their bread and butter. The Spurs certainly executed and wanted it more tonight.

Yep. Agree with all of this. I expect the Heat to come out pissed and embarrassed for game 4. Spurs better be ready because the Heat are going to try to put it away early.

:agree:no argument...

though that 3rd quarter run where they picked up their defensive intensity was a bright spot. they need to play that intense for all 4 quarters...

I'm guilty of this, I'm just beyond pissed at Rio right now. That mother fucker hasn't done anything during the playoffs in its entirety. 0-5 from the field and he was responsible for a large amount of our turnovers that translated to easy points for the Spurs.

But just a shitty effort from Miami all around.

I'm not worried about Miami in game 4. They'll play defense as they did in the 2nd half. I expect it to be a best of 3 series after Thursday

Quit trying to frame the Spurs offense as a fluke.
It might be the best offense in terms of efficiency we have seen in decades.

It is the most efficient and breathtaking offense I have ever seen in franchise history
This offense is quite capable of scoring ridiculous totals when they are feeling it.

111, 110, 112, 117, 112, 122, 104, 118, 114, 116, 119, 109

That is what they scored in their last 12 playoff wins.
Sometimes they are going to go crazy.

It was not a fluke.

I'm starting to lose faith. Because I think the Spurs will still come out ready to play (not to the tune of 76%), but still at a high clip. They should be flat out embarrassed with that performance.

Chalmers need to get benched though. Cole gotta start game 4. At least when cole isn't scoring, he can be annoying defensively

It was not a fluke.

No one is saying the Spurs offense is a joke, it's not. But to shoot 76% for a half set an NBA all-time record (which spans about 50 years). What people are saying, is them shooting a such a high percentage is a fluke. Not that the Spurs offense can't score.

Summary - Spurs offense good, not regularly all-time historic high good in every game.

Waiting for ignoring key statements in 3.....2......1....

CL67, I may disagree with your reasoning for disliking Lebron (and you're certainly entitled to your opinions) and may not agree with your logic sometimes. But I commend you on your consistency. You never waiver.

How many times did they shoot 75 percent in the first half this season? If you don't think a team scoring 71 points on 75 percent shooting isn't a fluke you're truly an idiot.

MIAMI has a spectacular defense.

But, if they even let up for a minute, the Spurs can drop 35 in a quarter.

There is no fluke Spurs shooting. They have done it all playoffs.

MIAMI needs to play defense for 4 quarters. This is not the Indiana Pacers offense.

I fully believe Miami can defend and win games 95-93.
That is what Miami has to do.

But, if they let up defense, they will lose 115-95 games.
