Offense would not be the issue.

They already play small and Melo would only make them smaller on D.

Also LBJ doesn't like to bang down low with PFs unless he has to.



The only way I see this working on both ends both Xs and Os and with ego's would be if they added a true center as well as Melo. Then LBJ runs the point and CB goes to the PF that he is best at anyways. Cole and Rio are back ups for LBJ and Wade. Beasley would be a perfect back up for Melo, their games pretty similar and Bird would still be there then they have to fill in a ton more roster spots.

This, I really do not think these teams are that even.

People say SA is better but MIA has LBJ. Last I checked LBJ is on MIA so MIA is better.


As for Beasley I really think he slept with Spo's wife...or really doesn't take practice seriously. The latter being the far more offensive to Spo.

It's because he doesn't know the defensive system yet. If you're the weak link in the defense, then the whole system doesn't work. Beasley's always getting abused on that end. Against San Antonio, you don't want any weak links on defense.
