I suppose that might make a player really think about it, but I think a better solution might be to handle it like a technical. One shot and the ball to the other team.

If refs are bad, expose them.

It isn’t about refs being bad. It is about slowing the game down and disrupting flow.

And many in here are way too hard on NBA officials. On the whole, they are great at their jobs.

There is multiple instances of contact on every play and every play happens fast. They are always going to miss some calls. But they have a pretty high batting average overall.

Being subjected to actual poor officiating at the high school level, I can appreciate what quality referees look like.

You need talent to win. Among similarly talented teams, the better coached one usually prevails in series.

Yeah I don't get the losing your only challenge after winning 1. The challenge rule need some adjustments.

There should be a limit to the number of challenges, but it definitely should be more than 1 per game. Maybe 2 per half and if you lose the first challenge, you don't get the 2nd one for that half?

This season was the first with coaches’ challenges right? Or was it last?

Been such a long season I can’t remember.

I feel like they introduced it as a trial. Since it has been successful, my guess is they will talk about expanding it a bit next season.

My first post in this thread was not my own idea about this series. Many say LA is playing down to a team inferior to them with injury. And the fact that ratings are down, what’s anyone’s problem with that?

I never said that the Knicks during season were contenders, they had the personnel to get to PS. They didn’t have the coach that was good enough to hold his players accountable.
