I'm not sure that person is drawing the right conclusions. I don't think the odds moved because they expect Charlotte to take Scoot. I think they moved because there's a growing chance that Charlotte will trade the pick and that team will take Scoot. That's what the odds makers are adjusting for

The odds of Charlotte actually doing the right thing are low

Fun one would be trading ball to hou for a bushel of picks and taking scoot at 2 and whitmore at 4

He’s big and can shoot. Asked to carry a lot

But he seems a little soft

The kind of dude that will either be a steal under heat culture or will just winter and fall apart and be a volunteer coach on his dad’s next staff after he gets fired at UM

Dude might wanna think about bulking up and trying to be a stretch 4 rather than a guard where he’s seemingly just not quick enough

Would have to be a cap space team, and there's not a lot of those prior to the new league year starting. Teams would need renounce cap holds in many cases.

My teams just made a trade. Now with three picks in the late 1st/early 2nd, Nuggets going to need to let some bench vets walk. Jordan the obvious candidate, others likely include Reggie Jackson, Ish Smith, Thomas Bryant…

I’m surprised they want 3 young guys rather than spacing them out over 2 years
