There are just so many variables.

He could go earlier. The Lakers could like someone else better.

I will say he is a perfect fit for what they wanted Beasley to be

But yeah, lots of weird stuff happens

Pick could also be traded…for buddy hield

Guessing the media hype on klintman was getting out of hand

Most mocks I saw had him in the top 40 or so picks

I thought he’d fit Denver’s pair of picks well

Depends on what the Lakers intentions are. If they want that full MLE to use, a trade for Hield makes that very difficult.

If their main targets are gone, a trade down with the Nets for O'Neale or with the Pacers for Hield could come into play. I would rather have Hawkins for $3M+ than Hield for $20M+.

Yeah , I’ve seen he’s rising (but then again, I saw a lot of klintman rising notes)

Kid can shoot

But he really doesn’t do much else

I’m really curious about him

To me strus is his best case cause he’s probably gonna get chewed up defensively

I love Hawkins for Miami, but I do think the lakers are another natural fit.

If Wallace falls there, he is so miami it's absurd. But after they passed on Maxey for a 6-7 center....I got nothing lol

I still think Herro, Jovic and 3 firsts for Dame makes the most sense for all parties

But if they keep the pick:

Wallace, Sensabuagh, Coulibay (who I would take in the lottery and still think he could go there), Bufkin or Murray are all good fits. Jett Howard is another guy who is fun for them.

For the Lakers, Hawkins has been the common pick. Guys that could me there that they could have a lot of interest in would include Lively, Wallace, Coulibaly, and Bufkin. If they trade down, I could see Maxwell Lewis being a target, along with Sensabaugh, GG, Jett, Murray, and Colby Jones.

This draft is so deep on it's fourth tier (Wemby 1st tier , Miller/Scoot 2nd, 4-10 or so the 3rd tier, 11-40 essentially the 4th tier).

Heat and Lakers seem to be looking for the same types...

I’m curious if the lakers wouldn’t trade down with say…Indiana who has 2 late firsts

I would sign off on that deal in a heartbeat

at this point i'm doubting Lively and Coulibay are there.

The others all have a real chance.

I’m sure.

I think technically Dipos salary needs to be thrown in

But obviously not a deal breaker

Portland in a really interesting spot with 3 top 20 picks

Dipo requires him to opt in. The younger pieces would be of more interest to Portland.

Dipo is almost certainly going to opt in.

I doubt Martin is a dealbreaker, but as Miami you gotta try.
