Andre Jackson to Denver seems fun

Still think Julian Phillips makes too much sense

I’d love sensabaugh or Dariq whitehead for them at 29

They need a lot of players for bench

Rookies don’t tend to contribute as much on playoff teams

Very rare

I guess in theory the sooner you onboard them the better

Good deal, we still keep a higher pick next year and as of now will get 3 guys this year.

100% guess, but I don’t think they are done yet, I’m guessing they put themselves in position to move up to around 20 tomorrow if someone is in that range they really want. I’m not seeing them bringing in 3 players this year in addition to Kamagate if he comes over from France.

My teams just made a trade. Now with three picks in the late 1st/early 2nd, Nuggets going to need to let some bench vets walk. Jordan the obvious candidate, others likely include Reggie Jackson, Ish Smith, Thomas Bryant…

Well, that kills a lot of trade scenarios for the Lakers and Pacers around #17.

Those 3 guys he noted might be let go didn't contribute much either to be fair.

Here was an interesting stat I saw that reinforces your point:
“Christian Braun was the best scoring Western Conference rookie in the Finals since Sam Cassell in 1994.”

Sounds like it. Then during the parade one of the Denver announcers stated, as if fact, “with Kamagate coming over this year.” I’m guessing it will be in ‘24/25, but haven’t quite given up hope they will buy out his contract and he joins the team this year.

Yep. Further drives home the point. But of course the top picks are going to non-playoff teams - and certainly not many playing a role in the Finals.

@The Q where do you think the Pistons go with the 5th pick and do you think Lively go 10?

Hard to say since I doubt Dallas keeps the pick

Pistons gm js an okc guy
So who are the okc guys

Walker, Thompson…coulibay

That pick is the new turning point of the draft

lol saw some local guys saying the heat might take him at 18 so was curious
Seems crazy to me. But, he’s tall for a guy with a handle.

He was the third best player, on a team that couldn’t make the tourney. Like 3/4 of his shots are from three and he seemed rather average at that. He very very seldom attacks the rim.

He’s real long for a guard. But he’s not NBA guard level athletically. Dude did play hard on D, but he has his dads speed, if that makes sense.

Duncan Robinson had a similar college game. But dribbled a lot less as his old man wasn’t the coach. Robinson also a better shooter. Athletically comparable guys also imo.

I’m kinda hoping for Thompson. But have no idea what they’re going to do.

Well....Denver has no choice since they won't be a lux tax payer with Kroenke

The rules are changing...as you know.

Their starting 5 makes a lot and Jokic and Murray will get bigger deals very soon.

LOL.
