Kind of a shocking stat, Boston only had 3 players in double digits. Dallas had 4.

I had Boston in 6 before the start of the series. This is the first time that I think they could actually sweep.

The more i look at how this series is playing out, I think Minnesota would have matched up better with Boston

Better role players and no cones on defense

Boston still win that series but not in a sweep

Historically, this team is better than the 2008 super team … but like I said earlier, even with a sweep, they will not be seen as a great team because of the lack of competition in these playoffs

Good thing for me, at least (wager wise) but also for Dallas' season, is that the gentleman's sweep is still in play.
But the Mavs must win on Friday ....or they'll watch the Celtics hoist the O'Brien trophy on their floor.

Hope it gets back to Beantown for a game 5....and then whatever happens afterwards, let it roll.

The West was more talented than the East this year(and has been for several years IMO) but the matchups up at the top were what stood out. It was basically a game of rock paper scissors between the Nuggets, Wolves, and Mavs.

I’m sure people will say it’s because I’m a Nuggets fan but they absolutely would’ve beaten the Mavs and likely have 1-2 wins in this series against Boston but they just ran into the only team they were completely outmatched by which was the Wolves. And the Wolves had the exact same thing happen where they ran into the only team that they were outmatched by in the Mavs.

Don’t forget the Thunder that team dominated the regular season they just are doing the normal path of a young team losing before winning, like the Warriors in 2014. That team was as good as any in the East except Boston
