I lost nothing and I wasn't saying it was a typo I simply don't know who that player is.
Or why don't we leave it at you can pick a non all star for $0? If someone wants a non all star player no offense then you aren't probably getting a outstanding player. Why not just leave it how it is or rename it $50mill Cap Draft.
Raising the cap $5 would be equally/more fair to all... If you change the rulesBecause it would have had the same effect on every drafter, nobody would have picked a different player than they already have if non All Stars were ineligible.
Then rename it, bc the title doesn't make sense...kinda takes a little bit of strategy out of it but it doesn't bother me. Basically a team, even with MJ, can get 3 or maybe even 4 great players and get a bunch of slapdicks and they will most likely win. The field of players shrinks substantially with ONLY All-Star being eligible.

Geez guy wins 1 Championship and he starts trying to throw his weight around...
It was fun seeing how ridiculous we could make the whole argument though. This thing a while ago went from basketball discussion to crazy statement competition.

For now on in basketball I am going to vote who had the best draft... Not who finds loopholes within the rules of the draft to create the best team....
Why exclude non Allstars? That does not make sense. Just say that non Allstars still cost $1.
We will run out of players and/or money if we can only draft Allstars. Raising the cap would be unfair to those who went cheap with their first pick. $1 salary for non-Allstars fixes everything, and let's face it, there are plenty of non Allstars better than guys who have made it multiple times.
I agree with this, but it looks like it is too late now. We won't run out of players if we did do the only All-star draft it would just be a smaller selection.
So what are the actual rules then? This needs to be reposted clearly, maybe in a different thread.
