That is a very good point. I think unless anyone has a huge problem with this which should not be the case since we just started players who never made an all star game are not eligible.

I have a problem with it unless we add $5 to cap for bench. I'm guessing WLK would shit himself over it

It's not the point, we are changing the stated rules after the draft had started. Since you went cheap, it's an advantage to you, but it would screw WLK over. Add 5 or leave it IMO

OH let me get 6 good players and 4 non all-stars... and thing is that team will have the advantage since he has the most salary for his starters...

In the land of Maravich where all that matters is how many shots you can throw up to the detriment of your team it isn't.

In actual basketball where he put up elite center stats in everything but points, yes it is.

To the detriment of his team? The teams he was on sucked, who else was taking those shots, the fact he averaged 24, 5, 4 for his career is pretty freakin amazing if you ask me.

Also, you have each drafted ONE player, if we were 4 or 5 players in I would agree we don't change it. You would have drafted Magic either way. He would have drafted MJ either way. Or if you'd rather we can start over but you can't draft Magic.

The mistake was corrected in plenty of time not to have an effect on the draft.

I never even knew that $0 players were the rules. I planned it out that you HAD to take a player with an all-star appearance. The $0 players don't make sense to me bc that takes away a lot of strategy.

Except I asked about this BEFORE the draft and that's the way we went. If you want to change the rules after the fact, add $5. If someone wants to put $50 on starters, they only get $1 bench guys

It wouldn't screw WLK. He can easily make up a team. I had the exact same plan as WLK but was looking at only $1 players late in the draft. I think it is fair. Not trying to screw Wlk it just makes sense and I thought it was the original idea of the draft.

Honestly, I don't understand why you are arguing this... you do realize fixing this mistake is actually making the draft more fair???

I didn't say you couldn't make it all all stars, I said if you are gonna add a mandatory $5 to the bench you have to be fair and raise the cap. If the point is getting 10 all stars, the 5 shouldn't matter

Because I remember the early days when we changed rules after the fact, and it caused shit unless we all agreed. Tell ya what, if WLK says OK, I will drop it, if he doesn't, I won't. Fair as I can get
