Doesn't it? I'm sure the bullpen could use the rest, though, so I'm going to look at it as a positive thing, especially since they swept the double-header.

Look at them Rockie starters ERA. We gotta win this series.

If Bryce is indeed back, i cant wait to see the lineup today.

I'll be surprised if Zim's not back at 3rd, Rendon at 2nd, Bryce in LF. Danny going 0 for his last 349739 with 47425 strikeouts made it an easy decision imo. But we'll see.

Boom. Zim at 3B, Rendon at 2B, Bryce in LF as i predicted. But i hate Bryce hitting 6th and Ramos hitting 8th. Hate.

Haha i just went thru 5 different lineups in my head. All seemed decent. I guess thats a good thing, lineup is stacked. But Ramos isnt hitting 8th in any of them. And it's not just because he's too good of a hitter for the 8-hole, i just dont like slow running catchers hitting in front of pitchers, forces them to have to make a perfect bunt.

I thought long and hard about this. Span's OBP is .313. Not good for a leadoff hitter. Nats as a team are 25th in MLB in OBP from the leadoff spot. Once Bryce gets back into the swing of things, i might try this:

1. Bryce
2. Rendon
3. Werth
4. LaRoche
5. Zim
6. Ramos
7. Dez
8. Span

Too crazy? And again, it has more to do with the lineup being stacked than Span being bad.
