Damn. I like his hustle but as far as longevity is concerned, he may want to take it down a notch in certain situations.

I just dont think he knew where he was or how close the fence was.

Nats win 6-2. Zimmermann improves to 7-1. Update on Harper, so far it sounds better than I expected...

Too bad about Harper. Reminds me of Kemp's collision last year. I hope Harper recovers faster than Kemp has.

Zimmermann was tough as usual last night. Haren vs Kershaw tonight should give Dodgers a better chance. Their season is slowly slipping away.

Yup, saw it for the first time this morning. He was running like he was in the middle of a 40 acre field or something. Kind of odd.

Got one intriguing lineup tonight against Mr. Kershaw

1. Danny
2. Lombo LF
3. Zim
4. Dez
5. Roche
6. T Mo RF
7. Vamos Ramos
8. Perez CF
9. Haren

Yup we're rollin with an outfield of Lombo/Perez/Moore.

Here's what I think happened.

The video board that is the wall is about a foot or so behind a chain link fence. When he swung his head around, the video board caught his attention and he looked completely through the chain link to the lights, like the chain wasn't even there. he thought he had an extra foot or so and could stop, but the chain link got him. Sound plausible? Maybe? :noidea:

I am not sure how long I can stay up tonight. This is going to be a low scoring one, or we hope it is. Kershaw is really good. We need a lot out of Haren. Give us 6 baby.

apache, I agree with your assessment as well.

Kershaw is not winning over the umpire with those premature walks off the mound.

Just tuned in to the Vin Scully version. Looking nice at Chavez tonight.
