Oh damn I didnt know this board was up. Great game by the Nats. Zimmermann is just a beast. Harper went yard. We also beat Anibal Sanchez for the 1st time in 20 tries. Takes the sting outta the Caps loss just a bit.

And now Fister cant get the shutdown inning, Zim and LaRoche drive in runs with 2-outs. 5-1 Nats.

Untuck! Nats sweep the short 2-game series with a 5-4 win. That was high quality drama in the 9th. Soriano gets Fielder to fly out on the warning track with Miggy on base.

Stras is dealing today.

Team is starting to look like we expected.

Didnt see the game but from what i hear, Stras was dominating then everything went to hell after one Zimmy error? Edwin also had his best outing of the year. Dang.

Oh well, lets take the rubber game tomorrow for a 4-1 home stand.

Davey takes Gio out of the game after 7.0 IP and only 86 pitches. Storen comes in and immediately blows the lead.

Sorry I missed the last thread, went away for a super-long weekend. Not a good series vs. the Cubs, but it's time for the long west coast swing. These games are mostly too late for me, but I'll post if I can and am up. Let's go Nats!
