Honestly? I trust his opinion more that I do Dan Snyder's, who has been associated with the team for 20 years. This could be a HUGE big deal. The three minority owners are reported to own 40% of the team. One of those three is Mr. Fed Ex. How does that affect the team going forward.
Here is another question. I am former military the so I have no objection to name change being in part related to the military. It doesn't make sense though when it comes to Washington. My question is how do you feel about RR having input into a name when he has less than a year invested in the Redskins?
So manifest destiny has never been used in a legal setting. This brings me back to my original question of who lands go to. Native Americans were not a nation. They were individual tribes. So why was it bad for the US to take the Black Hills from the Lakota, when the Lakota took the Black Hills from other tribes, and those tribe’s had taken the land from tribes, and those tribes took it from the previous tribe...etc. So which tribe gets a claim on the Black Hills and why them?
Yes...the winds change frequently when it comes to cultural description of black people. Most of which are not referencing a cultural relation to Africa but a racial one.
As for language, barrier to what. And how does this make Indians any less American?
i think they anticipate a name changeLooks like Walmart and Target I believe have joined NIKE in removing any and all Redskins related merchandise from their stores.

Add amazon to that list
Yeah, not Target. It was Amazon.
if you do away with anything native american then the colors dont matter to me . its an expansion team with a known loser running itESPN's John Keim reports the Washington football franchise is expected to keep its team colors of burgundy and gold after changing its nickname.
Keim's colleague Adam Schefter has reported the team will discontinue its use of Native American imagery. So far, there have not been any rumors as to what owner Daniel Snyder might be considering for a new name. It is going to be hard to pull this off before Week 1.

so far they are moving away from it and with the cancel culture i doubt they will get onboard with itnot necessarily if they go with Warriors they can keep the Spear logo because Native Americans are not the only ones to go into battle or hunt with spears
to the woke crowd its doesnt matter and that is the problem . they want their marxism
If you actually watch on YouTube their are a lot of interesting comments
the nickname is too forced . has expansion team written all over it . not really a fan of that under a dan snyder leadership role
