The Ford's let Millen's suck fest go on for half a decade. I cant see 1 bad year upending the whole organization.

It was playoffs or bust last year. I'm sure losing Suh didn't score Mayhew any extra points with Bill Jr. They act like desperate men who must win to save their jobs . The old man loved Millen, but he's gone now. RIP

And we made the playoffs, in case you don't remember.

Suh franchised 26.9 mil
Suh phins 19 mil
Ngata 8.5 mil

and Mayhew sends Bill Jr. to the bank.

Of course I remember? What's your point?

It was playoffs or bust last year. They made the playoffs. Saved their jobs. They'll probably need to do it again this year.

What's there to get?

Is Lucas going to be healthy to start the season? This kid IMO needs reps and more reps. Waddle may or may not be hampered forever with this injury. So just saying we HAVE to get a RT IMO is a premature assumption.

Funny you hear guys mentioning Lucas could evolve to be a LT and move Reiff and then hear he is only a backup at best. I guess that is what makes this board interesting. The vast difference of opinions.

Coach: We have a first round caliber talent starting for us at the most important position on the O-line, LT.

Millen: Screw it.... Let's see what the UDFA can do over there.

Brett Perriman's troubled kid ran a 4.1 40 yesterday at his pro day.

I love that kind of athleticism. We will need that type of speed.....
So he can block in the run game.

I wish we were in a position to draft (or need, really) Brett Perriman's kid! He looks like he'll be a beast, but he'll also be long-gone before our 2nd round selection is up, and we couldn't possibly (lord willing) consider him @ 23, so no Perriman legacy in the D, I'm afraid...

My top 5 prospects at #23 are all long gone by that pick (Shelton, Brown, Waynes, La'el Collins, Flowers)

Maybe Cleveland drafts a combo of Shelton or Scherff/Peat at #12 and at #19 Brown or Flowers opposite of what they did at #12 after those two picks maybe they trade up into 1st round wanting a WR Strong or Perriman to replace WR Gordon... they have picks #43, #77, #111, #115 :noidea:

there's still plenty of talent that could provide impact at that #43... Like DT Bennett or LG Tomlinson and then our natural pick at #54, to which I doubt Tomlinson or Bennett are there. Look at all the possibilities of players that we might expect to be gone at #23 and then the ones that are left. I already know the hate is coming from this comment of mine. sometimes you might want to consider out of the box thinking. Is it BPA at #23 who just might add to an already deep position of ours (i.e. DE or LB/DE tweener)

We already talked about this... I am all for moving back and getting those. As I told ya, Mayhew has never traded back in early rounds. I would love to see him surprise me. Go from 3 in top 85ish to 5 picks in top 115 would help immensely.

As there is no guarantee the kid at 23 has any more impact this year than the kid at 43.

repetitive nature, I guess, or maybe I'm just following others in unnecessary posts :noidea:

trying to be a team player, not that it matters

I was just tallinbough this with a guy I know. Well, he was tallinbough it, and I was sitting nodding my head, thinking , " Yeah, I like this route."

We know Xander's is reading this for scouting purposes, so there's a chance.
