Ricky Roma
The Catch
Average...other than his short playoff runs that were great that's what he is. One stat isn't everything but lets look at QB Rating...
Out of 30 NFL Qb's
2018 - 21st
2017 - 25th
2016 - 22nd
2015 - 13th
2014 - 15th
2013 - 35th..backup Qb's were better. This is sad. Played 16 games too.
2012 - 14th
2011 - 7th
2010 - 17th
2009 - 11th
2008 - 15th
2007 - 25th
2006 - 18th
2005 - 23rd
2004 - Started 7 games
This was actually worse than I anticipated. He can't be a top 25 QB when he isn't even a top 15 QB in the league RIGHT NOW in this generation. This is pathetic. You using passing TD's and yards pretty much says it all...you have nothing else to backup why he is worthy for this list...shit worthy for a top 75 QB list.
Top 10 QB Rating ONCE in his CAREER and it wasn't even top 5. Like I said, one stat doesn't say everything but this is a pretty telling stat that he was really average to below average in most of his career.
QB Rating can be a bit tricky, but I generally agree with your point. Eli Manning has been an average to above-average QB for his entire career. At no point was he considered a top 3/top 5 guy, and those guys are the true HOF players. There simply is no legit argument for Eli to be in the HOF, and there never will be.
That's not to say he won't get it.
