My Thoughts Regarding this Obvious Benching

This is something relatively minor, and i doubt that if affected the decision, but I noticed the two games I attended that on the PP he was staying out on the ice for the full two minutes most of the time, but unlike last year where he was told to do it, there was always a Devils player half over the boards waiting to get on the ice, but Kovy never came off the ice, even when the puck was cleared. That certainly can't make MacLean or anyone else on that team happy.

Nah that's ridiculous.

I dunno why Maclean seems to think he's some legendary coach acting like he is. I gotta believe there's no way Maclean was aloud to bench Kovy without Lou's permission. Therefore i'm guessing Kovy's done something unrelated to play. Just guessing.
