Thanks...your board always has lively topics...I'm sure you guys wish it was one aside from QB.

Really? What cheap vet would you sign? And what would you pay him? Back up money?
Colt? You realize he also is a FA this year. But he will be available, even in this Bad QB market. Know why? Because he isn't an NFL caliber QB and the rest of the league knows this. But you'd be willing to throw next year away also over a couple million. This, in a year that we will be flush with cap space.
Restart.....again
So you have made up your mind on KC?Yea, so resign him. Guys like Sam Bradford, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Chase Daniel, Matt Schaub and Colt McCoy will all be FAs. Now Im not gonna tell you that those are great QBs but Id rather have one of them for 3-5 mil than Kirk for 17 mil. Then you still have the draft to consider and possibly a trade.
What ALL those QBs currently have that we dont are SOLID defenses and consistent running games. So fuck no I dont think we would be a playoffs team with any one of them.

Bingo.
Anyone but Cousins. Don't know what he did, but it left a scar.
So basically any warm body but Kirk unless he is willing to sign a deal on the extra cheap. That about sum it up??
Not even sure the body has to be warm. Matt schaub? Isn't he dead? He is as old as we are, isnt he?So basically any warm body but Kirk unless he is willing to sign a deal on the extra cheap. That about sum it up??
Ive told you 82,000 times he can play well the rest of the season and change the situation.
Unless he is willing to sign a deal at the value that I think is appropriate.
And we have told you... he has ACTUALLY played well thus far, and we SHOULD expect him to improve. You do realize he is ranked #3 in completion percentage for all QBs with more than 300 attempts this season right?? And thats with a couple of games where WRs have had severe cases of the drops. HAs he been perfect.. no. Do we stand a big chance of taking a step back by going in another direction... yep.
What you think is appropriate is unrealistic for a starting QB in 2016.
So you didn't really answer me last time I asked so I'll try again. Based on what metric do you arrive with him being in that range? Because I can show you the 2 major ratings the experts use that will prove you wrong. And i have told you he has not. Cherry pick a stat all you want. Hes in the 20-25 range of QBs.

Whos cherry picking?? Its called realistic expectations. I expect a QB to complete around 65-70% of his passes, not take stupid sacks that are on him. I could care less if he has a signature dance move or a Subways commercial. NO would it be nice to have an uber QB?? Sure. But its not wasting another three years and countless resources trying to force finding one.
What stats? Who's opinions? Can you point me to their latest analysis?A combination of stats, watching guys play, what we know about other QBs based on their history, and the opinions of people I trust.
Go look at the link GK posted and then get back to me on that. Not to mention just because somebody would pay him doesnt mean its a good idea.
RG3 really messed you up man.
