Why not? If a talent falls to them (at any position) especially one of need, they should make the pick.

Remember they do hit just as much as other teams on draft picks, they just fail more, because they usually have more picks then anyone

I think we need to draft a TE. Gronk's a beast when healthy but he's Amendola. I believe the Pats have an option on Gronk next year...at $10m. If that's true...I doubt they will do it. Especially if he's injured again.

Two TE's and the WR we got are deadly.

First.....Gronkowski may not be ready to start the season. He may be placed on the PUP and will not start until game 6. That being said, the only TE is the Hooman. Good blocker, but not the best pass catcher. We'll know if Belichick is planning to keep Gronk sidelined when he makes the first round decision.

Personally, I think he'll deal the pick. Pick up a very early second rounder and a 4th, 5th or 6th. He'll be able to grab Amaro in the early 2nd and a Safety with the late second.
