I think we will go big WR early also. If Green gets hurt, we have nothing similar to replace him in size and speed. Sanu, Jones and Hawkins are decent players, but they cannot give us that BIG deep threat if AJ goes down.

It will be a focus in the draft, right after we draft Manti T'eo...thank the Gods. I am glad his stock is falling further and further for being a guy who falls easily in love, not because of injury or football ability.

Did you watch Te'o play in the NC?

I thought that hurt his stock more than anything else.

You don't think this mess was f'n with his head some? I do. He had a bad game, guys have bad games, even AJ Green or Geno Atkins. It happens. I am hoping between that performance in the NC game and this controversy is going to make a top 10 talent at MLB drop to us in the 1st.

He was a middle linebacker and was a finalist for a Heisman trophy. When was the last time that happened? You have to be a pretty damn special LB to become a Heisman finalist in the era of offense first.

I think his performance is a sign of things to come.... He might be slow.

This kid's draft position is all going to be dictated by his combine numbers. If he comes out slow and unathletic at the combine, the scouts are going to suggest that his physical limitations were what held him back against Bama. If he puts up good times at the combine, everyone will write off his performance to distraction.

Burfict was really slow at the combine too.

I think we have to take either Ogletree, Brown or Green.

I watched a lot of tape on Ogletree and Brown. They have different strengths, but I'd be thrilled with both. Brown is a sure tackler and has a nose for the ball. Ogletree tends to lapse in his technique when tackling, opting for a big hit instead of wrapping up, but has speed and has some nice ball skills. If either one is available in the first, or possibly with the early 2nd round pick, they should be the pick. Passing on them would be monumentally stupid.

I did watch a little tape on Greene (I watched his game against either Syracuse or Va Tech, can't remember which now). He also has a nose for the ball and is a a very good tackler, but struggled in coverage. I did only watch the one game though. I don't think he's an option with the earlier picks.

No Green would be a guy you take with pick 2b. But one of his strengths is his coverage skills. He may have had a bad game. He played Safety his first 2 seasons at Rutgers. I've read multiple articles that say after the combine Green may very well be a 1st round pick. Something all 2 of these linebackers have though is coverage skills and we really really need that.

I only watched the one game. He was beaten multiple times in the middle. But it could have been a bad game. He did a good job as a blitzer as well, even putting his hand on the ground a few times and beating his man.

I don't think Green is worth a 1st round pick like I said, but I would be thrilled to get him with our second 2nd rounder. I'd be fine with taking Ogletree or Brown in the first and Green in the second both.

We won't take two of them. We could go DE with the 1st rounder, then RB, LB. It depends on FA though.

Our linebackers are horrid. But Lamur impressed me in his limited playing time. We don't know how well Howard will be coming back from injury. We don't even know if we will resign him. Howard, Maualuga and Lawson are all FA's. I don't think we will take 2 but I'd be fine with it. I prefer DE, LB, and S with our first 3 picks.

Lol... what a joke! There is no way Ogletree makes until the 21st pick and anyone thinking of taking Brown or Greene in the 1st Round are morons!

I'd take Brown in the first, depending on workouts. Greene, not in the first.

Why because ESPN has him ranked 11th overall? Well CBS Sports has him rated 23rd overall and one of their mocks has him going to us and the other has him going 26th overall.
