I don't really get how you're doing the teams that haven't played yet. Ohio State and Penn state are in because of they are who they are, ok. But no Oregon or USC? No Wisconsin, Michigan or Minnesota?

If you kept them all out, I'd get it. But if you're going to put some in, do you really think Ole Miss, Coastal Carolina, etc. are better than Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon and USC?

Not trying to knock. Just saying, it seems inconsistent.

TCU? Really? Make the non playing teams in or out, but I think you gotta have consistent criteria. There are probably 8 or 9 non-playing teams that are actually top 25 teams, and if you're gonna rank 2 it means the rest should be under consideration.

SEC bias is SEC bias. Asking them to go out of the east coast or past the midwest is outside their comfort zone. Gotta be sensitive to their sensibilities as they view the CFB landscape. Mom may turn off the power to the basement at 2200...

I mean I don't want to shit on dude for giving it a try, but he has to know he's got like 7 or 8 teams in there that are dogshit. How are Oregon and USC unranked? Minnesota was a top 10 team last year that returns a 1st round WR, a starting QB that was #5 in QB rating, a RB that ran for like 1200 yds as a freshman before being reduced to backup again and the entire starting line from a team that demolished Auburn's vaunted defense.

And I still think ASU would fuckstomp at least 4 or 5 teams in there. Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin are probably better than half of them.

But the thing is he's not including the B1G and Pac 12 teams except 2 obvious, easy blue bloods. Which means he's just skipping the teams he doesn't know enough about, so the criteria is shit. No play, no rank, or just accept that maaaybe Ole Miss isn't supposed to be there.

No OSU, no PSU or just admit there's a bunch of dogshit teams after like #15 that may or may not be good. Ole Miss. UCF. If you put UCF and Minnesota on a neutral field, with UMN returning a top 10 pick WR, a top 5 QB, the entire offensive line and a RB that ran for 1200 yards as a freshman before being a team dude and taking a backup job. Do you really think one is the #11 team and one's an unranked loser team? Because the unranked team would be a stone cold fav.

I'm working in a few teams at a time, as I see fit. When they start that far behind the teams that are already playing, then there's no need to put them all in at once - especially those out west that have barely begun their pre-season workouts.

I felt that Ohio St. & Penn St. would probably be good out of the gate, but maybe not quite as good as they started out last year. Minnesota shows promise & will probably be on the list shortly. Most of the rest of the Big 10 may have to wait until they play a game or two. I have my doubts about the ability of the Pac-12 & MWC to play catch-up; but some of the teams currently ranked will be falling by the wayside soon enough.

I mentioned it last time and I came down to hard on the guy. He's filtering teams in as he becomes comfortable with those who haven't played. Minnesota just vaulted in, and they should be somewhere in the teens. So should Michigan and Wisconsin. Indiana is low key terrifying with all they return. Not great, but who wants to play them? Oregon and USC should also be in it, but I suspect my dude just doesn't know enough about them yet to include, or is holding back for some reason.

End of the day, dude's giving it a try. It's ok to have an opinion, even if shit ain't perfect. I doubt he really believes Marshall and Liberty are better than USC, Oregon, Michigan and Wisconsin... He's just got his own hard to understand criteria.

That being said, I would have at least 3 more B1G teams and 2, maybe 3 Pac 12 teams in if I was going to go through the effort. Which I'm not.

If he had balls, he'd put UGA #2 tho. And #4 UNC seems pretty BS. Well, a lot of them seem BS. But he's holding back on the non-playing teams obviously.
