US ARMY retired /mod.
top ten pick , should be an elite player for a decade . day one starter and difference maker
10 to 32 picks day one starter . 10 year guy just below elite will push for pro bowls and all pro's
2nd round picks starter by mid season , solid to above avg pro for 10 years
3rd round pick mostly a BU for a couple of years some spot starts in year 2 with year 3 turning into a solid starter
4th round pick border line starter for his career ST player
5th round most likely a career special teams guy take fliers here , sticks for a couple of years until price and skill set gets him run out of town
6th rounder special teams type , maybe sticks for a couple of years until price and skills run him out of town PS guy
7th rounder same as above but more often camp fodder < PS material
there are exceptions of course but when i am planning on my draft i take this into account
a team that is a perennial contender changes the above format some
