Had my annual labor day weekend auction drafts Saturday and Sunday.
14 team PPR
Teams
Team #1 --- Team #2
QB- T Lawrence --- Tua
RB- S Barkley --- A Ekeler
RB- J Williams --- C Akers
WR- D Adams --- J Chase
WR- K Allen --- D Samuel
WR/TE- C Kirk --- D Knox
TE- J Johnson --- T Hockenson
Flex- G Davis --- R Mostert
DST- NO --- Wash
K- Butker --- T Bass
BN- Kamara,T Boyd, A Richardson, K Hunt, --- K Hunt, H Renfrow, B Purdy, LAC
D Foreman, M Gallup --- ---------------- R Moore, C Edmonds

Team 1- Like the Kamara/Williams stack, Stayed away from the very top in each category allowing for more depth, Like Lawrence/Richardson as second tier QBs
Team 2- Paid for top talent at RB1 and WR1, Spent most of rest on RB2, WR2, and TE, Bench reflects lack of funds at end of draft

I like team 2 much more... Just need to get a better backup QB for when Tua is no longer in football...

yeah- After spending my funds on WR/RB did not have much left for QB. and QBs went for more $$$ than in the past. Tua is a risk but if he doesn't get another concussion, could be sneaky good play. Purdy could also be a good game manager for this team.

Waiver- B Young, Mac Jones, Sam Howell

if you are allowed to roster 3 QBs(many 14 team leagues dont), i would jump on Howell or Young for the upside... More so Howell.... I think i like Young better, but division play will likely force the commanders to NEED to score more than the Panthers....

looks like two competitive teams to me!

And I would agree, Purdy will be good enough. IF you are pressed into service with the #2, I wouldn't expect any of the other options to make a difference, just as well stick with what you've got

I like team 2 best.

As long as the top dogs stay healthy and productive, he will have a great team. Just need 1 or 2 hits from the WW and it could be a special season.
