Probably true.

I do think you were selling yourself short a little though earlier. I am thinking 50 wins and a squad nobody really wants to see in the playoffs.

Thanks for posting that @wildturkey. I am a little surprised my Wizards have the top rating here since I have never played 2K and built my team with pieces that fit.

What is more surprising to me though, is that not even 1 person has said they like my team for 2016. I honestly think my squad is hands down number 1 for this year. I have the best defense, the best bench, and pieces that fit well.

You ended up with a bunch of players that all had the similar ratings (mid 80s), including your bench. There were a couple of other teams that had some good starters but their bench really took a dive. Doing this makes me give a little more credence to the ratings because most of the teams I thought would be pretty good ended up being rated pretty highly. I thought you definitely had the most balanced team going in so it wasn't that big a shock seeing you come out on top.

Taking these numbers into consideration and draft spot Warriors were the biggest jump but it's not going to be very good in terms of voting... Way too much open to interpretation... Looking at the rankings Blazers picked 3 finish 2 but I honestly don't know how that team plays, however that's a lot of fire power... With my pick being second to last it makes most sense to go young and build but with so little "tape" you can only imagine what could be... It's not the same and so I wouldn't blame anyone for not liking my team... I'd got Sushi off the rankings for having the 20th pick and ending ranked 3rd...

I think it is fair to say Sushi did a great job drafting, but not really fair to discount the top teams because they had early picks. The Wizards should not be penalized for having a top 6 pick. Also, these are video game rankings. There are some teams on here that are a lot better than the ranking might indicate. Others are worse.

I agree completely, I just think if we're going off that ranking he has the biggest jump from where he picked and it's not close... Like you said you're a now team... If I have an early pick I'm going for now too, being second to last I have to go future, doing that and having differences in philosophies it's harder to go with what ifs...

Ranked 5th is NBA 2K rating?

I will take it. That is even better than I thought I could do with todays roster.

I tried to build a roster that will be better in the next 3 years.
My team is insanely young.
The overwhelming majority of my team has not even entered their prime years and will be in their 20s the entire run.

But, to get a #5 rating today exceeded my expectations. I knew they would be better in year 2, 3, 4, 5.

Yup. That and because the next phase will require another stickied thread which would just be excessive with all the playoff series threads up.

Once it clears up we'll have nothing to focus on besides the offseason anyways so people should get back into it.

Tied for 6th is better than I thought from a overall ranking. My bench isn't the best especially from a scoring aspect but whose is? I think my starting lineup could go up against anyone but it will be all about matchups. I think my bigs have a big advantage over a lot of teams but I feel my starters would have to play big minutes to compete though bc of lacking of scoring from my bench.
I think if I demote Phil to head coach good things could come though lol...especially with a superstar in AD that can take over at every aspect of the game.
