How many series have the Orioles swept all season? I think just one. And today they're making a team almost 30 games under .500, and a pitcher that has lost twice as many games as he has won look like world beaters.

I'm thinking no way. The only two players in the lineup that seem to want to compete right now are Machado and Valencia. McClouth also, but of course he's not in the lineup today.

We only have ourselves to blame. We knew before the season started that Nate doesn't hit lefties and instead of going out and getting a LF to platoon him with, we stuck with Reimold who hasn't been healthy in 5 years. We needed to address this issue earlier as well as our starting pitching. Didn't we not have a starter go 7 innings till almost May?

You have to go in with multiple options. When Roberts was hurt, we didn't go into the season with him only. We made sure that we had Flaherty and Andino to put in there. I don't know why we didn't do that with Reimold.
