Sam Sportboy....who is that in your picture?

Favorite drummers, I like Martin Lopez who used to be in Opeth, and obviously Mike Portnoy is incredible, but favorite I have to go with the guy in Mastodon:


That pair of really trippy sections in the middle of the song, the drumming is just so heavy and perfect in those parts. And he always has awesome fills all over the place.

Confession: I'm a longtime metalhead and I've never really listened to Reign in Blood. Grew up right in that era with favorite bands like Metallica, Megadeth and everyone and still managed to never even check it out. I heard it one time while stoned out of my mind at someone's house about 20 years ago, and remember thinking it was amazing, but never went back to it despite thinking I should about 10000 times. Always been a weird black hole in my musical knowledge.

That's it, will download it this week sometime. (Probably somehow won't)
