Much like LSU it depended on what Irish team showed up, the team that played Florida State could beat anyone, the team that played Northwestern and USC would be beaten by anybody. Luckily the team that played Florida State is the team that showed up. Notre Dame has a lot of young players that were hungry for a win and wanted to show the coaching staff that they deserve playing time next year.
