my brother had one of these in this color, he used to let me drive it to high school once in a while when i was 16. His had white interior. I had a 1967 442 and a 1970 Dodge Challenger before the station wagons and minivans started. Now I putz around in a p/u truck. I may buy something fun this year.

My Uncle would get hold of some cars, out of nowhere sometimes. One day he drove up in this that some widow lady wanted to get rid of. It was about a 10 year old car when he got it. 1969 Grand Prix 428 H.O. 390 hourse cid/auto. Every option in the world was on it.

It would move out pretty good for a car that wieghed 4400 lbs.

I remember when they came out.
And this one has the all important rear window louver.

Most came through with the 351 Cleveland, but I saw some that had the 429 option.
Fast as shit off the showroom floor.

The year I was born.

My mom had a 72 or 73 mustang when I was growing up, so it probably led to my love of that body style and then having it muscled up with that Mach 1 package is just awesome.
