7 walks and 3 errors. When does Lloyd start to get criticism for this lousy play? His bark (with media) seems to be stronger than his bite (with players).
excuse after excuse? Hasn't he called out more than one player directly?
and he flat out called out a few others. Coach speak is coach speak. Hell, you won't hear Pete call out any of his players whether they deserve it or not. Doesn't mean McClendon isn't calling them out in the team locker room or his office.
Lloyd isn't pitching the ball.
We put him in a Mariners jersey and gave him a bat with a hole in it.Zunino was a .327 hitter over 3 years in college including hitting .371 his sophomore year. What did we do to him?
Dude your wife has probably forgotten more about baseball than Jack Z will ever know.He has a huge upper-cut swing which gives him very little area to make contact and it is also causing him to be late on fastballs. Even my wife called it.

I wish Zunino would focus on making contact, not trying to hit the ball 47 miles. Focus on actually hitting the ball first when he gets better at that then selectively turn it loose when hes in a good hitters count.
