Zunino was a .327 hitter over 3 years in college including hitting .371 his sophomore year. What did we do to him?

He's making poor choices on substitutions imo... For example... WTF aren't we PH for LoMo and Zunino when they're our worse hitters... Instead we PH for a guy who has a 7 game Hitting streak...

They didn't lose this game because of substitutions. They lost it because of overall bad play all over the place. 7 walks and 3 errors lost that game. Paxton sucking ass again lost that game. They scored 5 runs again. Doing that at home should mean a win.

Mike Zunino’s offensive struggles beyond alarming. He’s hitting .140 w/24 K’s in 50 AB. Hicks (.171) & Baker (.148) struggling at AAA, too.

All I know is no manager has ever pitched a pitch, made a fielding error, or sucked at the plate, yet hundreds, or maybe thousands, have been fired in this game.

We put him in a Mariners jersey and gave him a bat with a hole in it.

He has a huge upper-cut swing which gives him very little area to make contact and it is also causing him to be late on fastballs. Even my wife called it.

Dude your wife has probably forgotten more about baseball than Jack Z will ever know.

I wish Zunino would focus on making contact, not trying to hit the ball 47 miles. Focus on actually hitting the ball first when he gets better at that then selectively turn it loose when hes in a good hitters count.

Every true home run hitter, including Cruz, says they don't try to hit homers they try to hit line drives. K-Nino tries to leave the building on every swing. You are dead on he needs better contact. I don't care if he has to choke up just do something different...something right.

Watch Elias comes in and pitches one helluva game, then the bullpen blows it because that's how this team rolls.
