I'd rather just send him down and not let him die in the majors like all the previous young players. He isn't great on defense right now either. The alternatives aren't great but I'd rather take care of him as he is still very young.

Hey guys, got a question for ya. Is it insane to carry 3 LHP in bullpen? I'm just looking ahead to when Furbush is finally ready to go. Peralta has been less than reliable giving up a long ball to tie the game twice this week. Would a bullpen including Furbush, Nuno and Montgomery be way out there? Just curious because Furbush appears to be the only situational LHP. Nuno and Montgomery both have been starters. I think the lefty/righty match-ups would effect Montgomery the least. What are your thoughts? That would make a BP of Cishek, Benoit, Zych, Vincent, Nuno, Montgomery and Furbush.

It's not insane if it is working. I don't have much complaints about the bullpen so far. They need a different temporary 8th inning guy when Benoit is unavailable, because Peralta isn't cutting it. Thankfully, Benoit is supposed to be available tomorrow night. Montgomery got hammered Monday night. I'm not sure why they left him in so long. He clearly didn't have it in that game and Texas only had a 2-run lead when he entered the game. He and Peralta both need a shorter leash going forward. I wouldn't put either one in a close game.

From what I have heard Furbush is still a long ways out. Like a couple months at the earliest. I tend to think if/when he's ready to come back it will work itself out. Someone else will be hurt or struggling and it probably won't be a hard decision. Hopefully Benoit is healthy and we won't have to see Peralta in those spots. Would have preferred Zych if both were available
