I like it when goldsmith is quiet for almost an entire half inning, because the guy NEVER SHUTS UP. Has a team ever traded an announcer before?
100%, but was expecting that to be Ray. Nice to have someone else step in.Gilbert's ERA is, he solidly broke a losing streak. That is one of the most important things you can ask of your key starters.
Back in around 2008 when Dave Sims was given the play-by-play duties for the Mariners, I absolutely hated him.I like it when goldsmith is quiet for almost an entire half inning, because the guy NEVER SHUTS UP. Has a team ever traded an announcer before?
I'm not concerned about Winker. His righty/lefty splits bother me, but even then he's still a good hitter. An early comparison of free agent outfielders to what we went with after the first month.

normal..i would agree and i may...later....but they have to....stop..him from doing what he is doing...and do it a bit..differant...in a good way....first...they have to know...what they want to try......then..sell kelenic ..on it...I'm not concerned about Winker. His righty/lefty splits bother me, but even then he's still a good hitter.
Kelenic is my biggest concern at this point. We should've traded him when we had the chance. I was hopeful he might improve this year, but here are his numbers this year compared to last:
2021: .181/.265/.350, 9.5% BB, 28.1% K rate
2022: .148/.221/.311, 8.8% BB, 39.7% K rate
Those stats listed above don't even account for his latest 0-3 with 2 strikeouts.
I'll give it a few more weeks but I'm now fully on the Kelenic is a bust train.
