My take, which is worth less tan penny candy, is this team has no accountability. They all want to be friends including management. All want to be the hero so doing the small stuff is below them and they don't trust each other on the field. Why waste a sacrifice if the next guy isn't going to drive him in anyway type attitude. A great team is full of moving parts. Some parts have more responsibility than other parts but without each other it stops working. Julio should have never been the star. He isn't that guy emotionally. He is the happy guy not the guy ready or able to kick someones ass that is not pulling their weight. We needed a Nelson Cruz type. We all know we don't have that in a manager. And yes of course we are missing talent. Continuing to use old spare parts just costs more in the long run with a lot more breakdowns.

I appreciate Cal as well, but he stopped short of telling us the answer. He pointed out the obvious, but the why has never been answered. Are they all just shit for players or is there a philosophical issue on this team? No accountability? Pushing too hard to all get along? I want to know the answering not just have the question repeated.

But I do give him credit for speaking out. Nobody else will not even the $400M man. Maybe that is the problem. Jealousy.
