Never did it even cross my mind all those years that the Mariners could have a worse owner than Nintendo, yet here we are.
Nintendo was a great owner. They saved baseball in Seattle and had no say in the day-to-day operations of the team. Lincoln ran it. I would die to have them back.
Stanton threw Jerry under the bus for the offseason and already basically threw him under the bus for if this trade deadline doesn’t work out.

I suppose, but they still put Howie and Chuck in charge and I put that on the owner. Wish we could get an owner that even gave just half a fuck about baseball instead of just making money.
Cause I really, really disliked Chuck Armstrong. Mostly because of the Randy debacle, no real opinion on Lincoln but those two kind of seemed like Jerry and Scott where because I didn’t like one I don’t like the other by default.
It is why it sucks all the rich Seattle guys loved basketball instead of caring about baseball. If Paul Allen would’ve bought the M’s and ran it like the Seahawks, the M’s would also have a championship.
