Fraley sure is a goof. He did odd things with us if I remember right at as. He cost his team a run and an out by gearing it down. Thank you Fraley.

Yeah, coasting into home on that play at third was definite not going full out 100% like you always should, especially when scoring a damn run

He’s all around a pretty solid ball player and the Mariners would be a better team right now if they had him on it playing like he does for Cincinnati

But there’s some kind of ultimate voodoo jinx going on, in that first base dugout. Where guys lace’em up and then some black cloud destroys all their numbers on the back of their baseball card. Then who knows what’s gonna happen when they’ve got a Mariners uni on

And he came in to 2B on that hit and run almost standing up where he got tagged out in a strikeout-throw I'm out double play. Again, just an odd dude.

Yeah, one can only hope this gets their heads right and they realize you’ve gotta put runs across the plate to win. You can’t lean on pitching for the entire season to bail you out

Still a whole bunch of strikeouts this game, but at least they squared a few balls up and put together a couple rallies

Happy for a good stretch.

The numbers are still pretty dismal though. Near the bottom in team avg and was at the bottom going into this game in team hitting with RISP.

These frozen cold season starts are just getting beyond frustrating. Having to pull out of deep holes gets old.

I personally don't like the use of the word "distraction". Enthusiasm would have been more appropriate to me.

Weeeellll, isn't that just like our Mariners of the Servais/Dipoto era. Just when you are ready to say "okay, we suck. I accept it," they throw us a bone. Seven consecutive quality starts by the rotation, Julio starting to hit, the offense coming to life, they sweep the Reds, and suddenly Team Teal is only one game out of first place. And to sweeten the pot, we are headed to Colorado for a weekend series against the 4-14 Rockies. How can they possibly screw this up? Well, it's the Mariners. So, anything is in play.
